About our Senior Pastors
We are blessed to have Pastor Justin Vargas and Pastor JoAnna Vargas as our Senior Pastors. This dynamic husband and wife team are truly God's gift to this local body of believers.
Pastor Rev. Justin Vargas is Senior Pastor of St. Augustine Assembly of God. The Vargas family is celebrating their 10th year at the work here at St. Augustine. Pastor Vargas is a former NYC police officer. Pastor Vargas was tenured as Associate Pastor of Brooksville Assembly of God. He is a graduate of Global University, Berean School of the Bible. Pastor Justin serves as a true pastor and has a genuine heart for all of the flock at St. Augustine Assembly. He is also a true Man of God, delivering solid Bible teaching under the anointing and direction of the Holy Spirit.
Pastor JoAnna Vargas is the assistant Senior Pastor at St. Augustine Assembly of God, and is the wife of Pastor Justin Vargas. She carries an anointing in teaching and in healing, and always has a word of encouragement for the body of Christ.
Pastors Justin and JoAnna are originally from Bronx, NY, and have four children, Justin Jr., Dave, Adam, and Ed.
